Does my A__ Look Fat?

” I don’t recall the chairs being this small when I was a child.”

Okay, so I have your attention.  Let’s be honest, how many of you have caught yourself asking, “Does my A– look BIG in these pants?” in the last 30 days?  I can see you’re nodding your head.  Did you ask a friend, loved one, or simply asked yourself while looking in the mirror?

Lets face it.  In society this is becoming a norm.  It’s not very surprising since a large percentage of people find themselves sitting on their bums ALL day.  Sit for breakfast; sit in their car to go to work; sit at a desk all day; home again, supper, sit in front of a computer yet again, or sitt in front of a t.v. SIT…SIT…SIT….

Envision a ball…it’s lovely and round, now place pressure on it…what happens, it begins to widen.  Now do this everyday all day long.  We’ve all seen it happen, the ball becomes egg shape.  It has lost its shape.  I want you to image this ball representing your a–.

Am I making sense?I don’t mean to upset anyone with this blog, I only mean to rise awareness.  My intention is for people to begin moving.  To get off that behind and do your body, heart, mind, and soul some good.  Did you know the W.H.O just completed a study on the EPIDEMIC of overweight and obese people in the world for 2012?

According to statistics, if you take all the overweight and obese people in the World today, they would fit into Indonesia.  How scary is this!!  If you haven’t heard already, for the first time in the history of mankind, parents will outlive their children.  Are our children not to outlive us?  12 year old’s are suffering from cardio-vascular issues, Type II Diabetes is on an alarming rise.  Truck and Mini-van sales have escalated.  Small vehicle sales have decreased.  Mini-van’s are no longer just a family van.

I know, you’re probably responding to this by saying you are too tired to exercise after work; your life is too busy; you don’t have time to cook a home made meal.  Perhaps it’s time to re-evaluate your life.  Are you too busy from work, or is your body just too exhausted because you are not giving it new life-new energy.  Does it not feel good after just a short 15 min. walk?!  Does a Home cooked meal not taste so much better than a pre-packaged, frozen meal or fast food?

My intentions are good.  I want everyone to get up and begin moving.  Start with  a simple 15 min. walk on your lunch hour.  Park away from the front door of your workplace, from the shopping centre, and walk a few extra metres.  Stand up at work when the phone rings-your back and your a– will love you.  Instead of sitting down in front of the TV or computer after supper, go out and stretch.  Go out and take a walk.  When you are 75 years old, will you remember all the hours you spent sitting and watching TV, or will you remember the sights, sounds, smells, and good feelings you had every time you went for a walk.

MAKE TIME FOR YOURSELF.  Remember, it is that first baby step that will leads to success.  If you want success, you need to go out and get it, it will not come to you.
