Are YOU Rushed & Stuck on what to make for Lunch?

Are YOU Rushed & Stuck on what to make for Lunch? Good Morning.  Do YOU like my hat? (laugh…) Tanya Otterstein-Liehs here from, inspiring YOU, busy women, to start making important time for yourself by implementing exercise, balanced eating, and developing a positive mindset. So, how is my important task making planning, that I talked about last week, going for you?  Did you try it out yet, or are you waiting until November?  I’d love to know. What I’m talking about today is meal planning, more specifically lunch planning. In the morning are you busy running around trying to get […]

Processed meat, Sausages, Bacon & linked to Cancer

It’s been all over the news this week. Processed meats, sausages, bacon, and red meat – carcinogen foods – are linked to causing cancer. I won’t go to much into details here as you can easily find this all over the world wide web. What the focus of my blog here is, “Where does the meat source come from?” As I’ve been reading varying reports and it is widely highlighted that processed meat, sausage, bacon and red meat causes cancer, but what I often fail to find is the need to draw attention to how the animals are raised and […]

Perhaps it’s because we are into December, and you all know what happens in January.  The traditional “New Year’s Resolutions.” (But, let me leave this topic for another blog before I get away from what I wanted to discuss today). In case you do not live in Canada, $2,000,000,000.00 is currently being spent in our medial system, due to the rising cost of Obesity in patients. […]

Oh, those childhood summer Popsicles, Slushies, & Treats If you close your eyes, do you remember those homemade popsicles you had as a kid?  Filling up plastic containers with juice, placing the lids on, and putting them into the freezer.  Then came the waiting game.  Oh, as a kid didn’t it seem like eternity until your popsicle was frozen and ready to eat!  I still remember peeking into the freezer, lifting the lid to see if it was ready, only to be disappointed that juice does not freeze in 20 min.  Then…finally; you take them out, for what seemed to be days, run the […]
